Sergey Shirin
In 2003 he has graduated from the School of International Relations of St. Petersburg State University, specializing in International Relations. In 2006 he has graduated from the graduate school of the School of International Relations of St. Petersburg State University majoring in Political problems of international relations and global development.
Certified in Advanced Networking Technologies at the National Institute of Information Technology in New Delhi (2004). Took short-term training programs on "Innovative educational technology" at St. Petersburg State University, on "Innovative Technologies in Higher Education" at the University of Twente (2006) and on educational IT-innovations at Stanford University (2007).
Since September 2004, works at the St. Petersburg State University and continually adverts to the issue of internet governance within the course "New information technologies in international system".
Areas of academic interest:

- political processes, systems and relations on the WWW.
