Welcome to INTGOV.NET

The Internet has advanced intensively over past decades and embraced every single aspect of our lives and fuels numerous debates around it, of which perhaps the most vigorous one centers on how it should be governed.

As a joint initiative of the Russian and Bulgarian Internet community, our resource’s mission is three-fold:

First, to raise awareness of how the Internet is governed now among its regular users, primarily from the quickly developing Internet communities of the central and eastern Europe and throughout the former Soviet zone. To this effect, we will be keen to thoroughly select papers and other materials which might be of a particular interest to our audience.

Second, to encourage discussion on a broad array of aspects in this regard. We will be happy to have you share with us your ideas papers, comments, etc. and make sure they are promptly posted on the Site.

Third, we really wish to have everyone’s voice to be heard of, and will be at pains to ensure that our Web-site over time becomes a pipeline for ideas and suggestions to be disseminated and communicated throughout the Internet and among policy makers and Internet governance bodies, and taken into account in their decision making. But remember, this can be done thanks solely to your inputs.

In short, if you feel you can contribute to the shaping of tomorrow’s better Internet governance practices, that’s the place for you!

Thanks for joining us.
